MINUTES OF THE MET!;TING OF THE CITY COl~~ISSION
The City Oommission of the City of Clearwater, Fla.
met in regular session on the evening of Jan.5,l94l atter
the adjournment of the Old I30nrd of City Commissioners.
The following members were present:
Geo. R. Seavy,Mayor Commissioner
William Watson Clark
Herbert Griae
Sumner R. Lowe
J. G. Smith
The newly eleoted members of the Commission: Geo.
R. Seavy, William Watson Clark, Sumner R. Lowe and J. G.

Smith were administered the oath of office by City Clerk,
J. Frank Hamrick.
r~otion by Mr. Smith and seoonded by Mr. Lowe that
F. L. Hendrix be appointed City Manager, motion oarried.
Motion by Mr. Grice, seconded by Mr. Clark that Ralph
Richards by appointed City Attorney, motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lowe, seconded by Hr. Clark that Frank
Cooley be appointed City Clerk. t~otion carried, the vote
being Messrs. Eowe.,.. Clark, and Seavy for the Motion, Messrs.,
Smith and Grice against the motion.
There being no further business to come before the Board
the meeting was adjourned.
