The City Co~~ission of the City of Clearwater met in
regulAr session in the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock on the
eveninr-: of Decenbor 15, 1940, with the following members

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Lewis Homer representing the .Tunior Chffil1ber of

Comorce, stated to the CO!.1raission that they were very
much in ~ced of adc1ition~l housing accommodations and
asked if the Cit7 would convey the title to Lot 3,

City Park Subdivision, under the same terms and conditions
that they had previously secured Lot 4 same subdivision,
to build additional housing on, as per plens and specifications
:presented. Hoved by Hr. Norton, seconded by :.!r. Dempsey and
unani:r.lOusly carried, t=.te City !-.:o.nager 8nd Ci ty At.torney be
authorized to execute proper papers for the transaotion.
Dr. Chappell, V:m. ::onroe and John Chestnut representi'ng
the County Health Unit, appeared before the COMmission and
stated th8t Firs. \'!. '\":. C'ribson had agreed to Deed to the City

of Clearw8ter all of Lots one (1) to eight (8), inclusive.
Also Lot thirteen (13), Clearwster IIeights Subdivision, and
an eleven (11) foot strip off the East side of Lots 23-24-31

32 and 39 of this same subdivision; this strip to be used for
the purpose of wiiiening l.!issouri Avenue for the cancellation
of all Taxes ani Improvement Liens against Lots one (1) to
eight (8), inclusive; thirteen (13) to twent:r-seven (27), in-
clusive; thirty (30) to thirty-three (33), inclusivej 38-39
and. East l~O feet of Lots 29-34-37 throtl{~h the year 1940.
,The County Hoalth Unit agrees to Deed to the City of Clearwater
Lots 12 and 13, Block 2, l,iagnolia Park. The City of Clear\vater
then agrees to Deed to the County Health Unit Lots 5. to 8, in-
clusive, Clearwater Heights Subdivision for the purpose of
bu:i.lding a health center uni t on. l~oved by Mr. Dempsey,
seconded by Mr. Norton and unanimously carried, proposition
be accepted.
