The City Comnission of the City of Clearwater met in
regular session in the City Hall at 8:00 o'clock on the

Minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved.
City IJanager present Electrical Ordinance No. 466,
Amending Ordinance No. 450.
Moved by Mr. Grice, seconded by Mr. Seavy and unanimously
carried Ordinance No. 466 be passed on its first reading.
Moved by Mr. Dempsey, seconded by Mr. Grice and unanimously
carried the rule be waived and pas.sed on its second reading
by title only. Moved by Mr. Norton, seconded by Mr. Seavy
and unanimously carried the rule be further waived and
ordinance No. 465 be passed on its third and final reading.
City Manager read a letter from Curtis Green, Post No.
It, requesting the one hundred dollars ($100.00) License fee
to be received from Silas Green Shows be donated to this

unanimously carried the request be granted.
Moved by Mr. Grice, seconded by Mr. Dempsey and unanimous-
ly carried the offer of Mr. Alfred Marshall of one hundred
seven dollars and fifty six cents ($107.56) in settlement of
1940 and prior Taxes and Improvement Liens aBSeS$ed against
Lots 13-14 and 15, Block F, Oak Hills, amounting to one
hundred fifty four dollars and thirty two cents, (~54.32)
be accepted.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.

FOR THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA.
BE IT ORDAIN"ED BY TIm CITY COI.!MISSION OF nm CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
That Seotion 3 of Ordinanoe #450 oommonly known as the
Electrical Code for the City of Clearwater, Florida, be and
the same is hereby to read as follows:
Seotion 3: Pe~its shall not be issued to anyone except
Master !~leotricians by the chief 3:lectrical Inspector until the
following inspection fee shall have been paid to the City Clerk:
NEW CONSTRUCTION
An inspection ree of One Dollar ($1.00) shall be charged, and
in addition to this there shall be added fees as follows:
For each outlet, including outlets for wall switches, five
cen ts ( 5y! ) .
For each lighting fixture or droplight, five cents (5~).
For each electric motor of less than 1 h.p., fifty cents
(50~).
For each electric motor of 1 h.p. or more, one dollar ($1.00).
For each' neon or electric sign or system or awning or outline
lights, one dollar ($1.00). Each additional Sign under same
permit, fifty cents (50~).
For remodelino or repairing from one to twenty lights, one
dollar ($1.00). Each additional light, fi~ cents (5~).
For Deleo or other similar plants, two dollars ($2.00).
Changing or alteration of an existing system, one dollar
($1.00) for reinspection. ,
Each additional meter socket, twenty five cents (25i).
OLD CONSTRUCTION
(Additions to existing system)
Up to and including three outlets (not including heat, water
or range outlets), fifty cents (50~).
Next five outlets, ten cents (10~) each.
Over eight outlets shall be consinered as new construction and
fees shall be charged as hereinabove provided.
For instr~llation of a water heater or ra'lge v:here the wiring
has alreany been completed anc'!. meter service built, there will
be a base charge of fifty cents (50~) for he8ter ~nd fifty cents
(50~) for range. ~dditional meter sockets to the one installed
for supplyin~ power to the original wiring installation will be
twenty-five cents (25i) each.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
by the City Commission of the City of Clearwater.

WHEREAS Charles Crowley, who is now employed in the
Tax Department of the City of Clearwater has been oalled tor
servioe in the Federal C~unioations Commission, Radio
Monitoring Servioe;
NOW, THEREFORE This is to certify that the said
Charles Crowley is an employee of the City ot Clearwater
at the time ot his entry into government servioe as above
set forth, and that under the said policy adopted by the
City of Clearwater he shall be entitled to resume his
position with the City of Clearwater after his disoharge
from his servioe with the federal government.
