The City Commission of the City of Clearwater met in
Regular Session in the City Ball at 8:00 o'clock on the evening
ot July 1, 1940, with the following members present:

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The City Manager presented three Resolutions exttnding
t~e on Contraots NO.2, Sewer Extension and Improvaments
Docket No. Fla. 1106-F 22 days to February 17th, 1940;
Resolution ex'tending contract time on Contraot No.3, Sewer
Extension and ]mprovements Docket No. Fla. 1106-F for 36 days
to Deoe.mber 16th, 1939; Resolution ext~nding oontract time on
Contract NO.6, Sewer Extension and Improvements Dooket No.

Fla. l106-F 73 days to April 11th, 1940. Moved by Mr. Peeler,
seoonded by Mr. Seavy and unanimously oarried that the Resolut-
ions be adopted.
Moved by Mr. Peeler, seconded by Mr. Seavy and unanimous-
ly oarried that Peter Treola's salary be raised to . 150.00 per
month, effeotive July first.
The City Manager presented a proposed oon'traot from W. H.
Armston and Company for resurfacing Mandalay Boulevard from
Acacia Street south to Clearwater Street for the sum ot
$ 2,337.76 payable July 1, 1941. Moved by Mr. Seavy. seoonded
by Mr. Peeler and unanimously carried that the con'traot be
exeouted.
Thera being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned.

RESOLUTION EXTENDING CONTRACT TIME ON CONTRACT NO.2,
SEWER EXTENSIONS AND IMPROmmNTS, DOCKET NO. FLA. 1106-F,
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, 22 DAYS TO FEBRUARY 17, 1940.
WHEREAS, the J. B. MoOrary Company did additional
oonstruotion work at the request of the City neoessitating
additional time for the oompletion of the projeot,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLvED by the City Oommission of
the Oity of Clearwater, Florida, as follows:
Seotion 1: That the J. B. MoCrary Company, Contraotors
on Contraot NO.2, Sewer Extensions and Improvements, Fla.
Dooket No. l106-F, Clearwater, Florida, be granted extension
ot time in the amount of 22 days extending the said oanplet-
ion date to February 17, 1940, and that all liquidated damages
be waived.
Seotion 21 That F. L. Hendrix, City Manager, is hereby
authorfzed and direoted to grant said extension of time and
waive said liquidated dmmages for, and on behalf of, the City
Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, Florida, this first day of July, A. D. 1940.

Contraot No.3, did the additional oonstruotion work at the
request of the City, neoessitating additional time for the
oompletion of the projeot,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of
the City ~f Olearwater, Florida, as follows:
Section 1: That the J. P. Clarkson Company, Oontraotors
on Contraot NO.3, Sewer Extensions and Improvements, Fla.
Dooket No. 1106-F, Clearwater, Florida, be granted extension
of time in the amount of 36 days extending the said oompletion
date to December 16, 1939, and that all liquidated damages be
waived.
Section 2: That F. L. Eendrix, City Manager, is hereby
authorized and direoted to grant said extension of time and
waive said liquidated damages, for, and on behalf of, the
Oity Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Oi ty Commission of the Oi ty of
Olearwater, Florida, this first day, of July, A. D. 1940.

additional work at the request of the City neoessitating
additional time ror the completion of the projeot,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission
of the City of Clearwater, Florida, as follows:
Seotion 1: That the Ebersbaoh Construotion Company,
Contraotors on Contraot No.6, Sewer Extensions and Improve-
ments, Fla. Dooket No. l106-F, Clearwater, Florida, be granted
extension of time in the amount of 73 days extending the said
oompletion date to April 11, 1940, and that all liquidated
damages be waived.
Section 2: That F. L. Hendrix City Manaser, is hereby
authorized and direoted to grant said extension of time end
waive said liquidated damages for, and on behalf of, the City
Commission.
