WHEREAS the City of Clearwater was recently confronted with

an emergency in that the fill leading to the bridge over Stephen-
son's Creek had become in a condition that would soon be dangerous
for the carrying of automobile traffic; and
j"AREAS the City of Clearwater requested the State Road
Department to take prompt steps to remedy said dangerous condit-
ion; and

j WHEREAS the State Road Department gave full cooperation to
the City of Clearwater and promptly took the steps requested by
the City;
