The oath of offioe was administered to the two newly
elected Commissioners, Mr. Herbert Grioe and Mr. George R.
Seavy. by the City Attorney.
Moved by Mr. Dempsey, seconded by Mr. Peeler and
unanimously oarried that F. L. Hendrix be reappointed as
City Manager for the ensuing yaor at the same salary.
Moved by Mr. Grice, seconded by Mr. Dempsey and
unanimously carried that J. F. Hamrick be reappointed
City Auditor and Clerk for the ensuing year at the srone
salary.

Moved by Mr. Dempsey, seconded by Mr. Grice and
unanimously carried that Ralph Richards be reappointed
City Attorney for the ensuing year at the same salary~
Moved by Mr. Dempsey, seconded by Mr. Seavyand
carried that C. E. Ware be appointed City Judge at the
same salary as the former City ~udge. Mr. Grice voted "NO".
The City Manager presented fuel oil bids. The City
Fuel Oil Company was low bidder. Moved by Mr. ~1oe,
seconded by Mr. Dempsey and unanimously carried that the
City Fuel Oil Company be awarded the contraot.
The City Manager presented sealed bids on automobile
insurance and property damage from 13 Insuranoe Agenoies.
In order that the City Manager might hve time to tabDlate
the bids, official action was de~erred until a Special
Meeting to be held at 5:00 P. Mo on January 2nd.
vSealed bids were reoeived on the purchase of Lot 3
Block 1 of Magnolia Park Subdivision. Moved byMr. Peeler.
seconded by Mr. Dempsey and unanimously oarried that the
City Attorney be authorized to tabulate the bids and determine
the highest bid and report at the next Commission Meeting.
