The committee to investigate charges against Mr. Casler read a report confirmine Mr. Casler's qualifioations and rig~tt to serve as l:iayor-Comrnissioner. Moved by Mr. Peeler, seconded by Mr. Baker and unanimously carried that the report be aooepted and approved. Moved by 'Mr. Baker, seconded by Ur. The City Attorney called attention to the confusion conoerning the sale of Lot 3 Block 1 of Magnolia Park. Mr. J. E. Satterfield, representing rjr. Ben Sutton, stated that his client would like to make a bid on the lot and inquired as to whether bids would be open or sealed. Moved by Mr. Dempsey, seconded by l,lr. The City Manager was instl'uoted to permit free use of gas and wllter by the Morton Plant Hospital until the end of the present fiscal year.
