Horace Roberts, representing all Florists in Clearwater, asked if the Florists could be protec~ed from peddlers who oome in from outside the City. The Mayor stated that it is impossible ~o Keep anyone from taking orders and delivering in the future. Mr. Horaoe Roberts stated that Clearwater Florists pay the City more than $ 1,200.00 per year in taxes and lioenses wh1le the outsiders pay nothing or this kind.
