regular meeting assembled at the City Ball OD the evening ot

Minutes ot the previous meeting were read aDd approved.
Mr. R. .M. Thompson addressed the Commiss1on with reterenoe
to the Yaoht 01ub leasing part of the Fish Plant and stated that
the resson tor ask1D8 tor such a long term lease was the faot
that they would have to spend oonsiderab1e ~neT in fix1ng up
the bu1lding as they would like to have 1t. The City At~orn~
was 1nstruoted to oon~e1" w1th Mr. Cyril Pogue in draw1ng up a
lease wh1ch would be aooeptab1e to the Clearwater Yaoht Club
and the City Commission. The Commissioners agreed to let the
Clearwater Ee80h Progress1ve Association have a portion ot the
building without a lease.
capta1n B. A. Lowe presented p1ans of the proposed yaoht
bas~ and boat slips whioh he intends building on the south side
o~ the Causeway and east of Mar10n ~~'s. After d1sGassion the
City Atiorne,r was instruoted to draw a ten year lease with a
rental o~ . 25.00 per month and ~. Lowe agreed to fill in a
strip on the west end.
Er. Raymond H. Center's o~fer of . 5,000.00 and ereotion
o~ a . 10,000.00 bu1lding for the remaining portion of :Block 4
of Sarah. MoMu.llen's SUbdivision, payable $ 1,000.00 oash and
ba1anoe payable 1n fo~ or five 1ears was refused.

BE IT ORDAINED :BY THE CITY COlaiISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER.
FLORID! :
1. Every dwel11ng 1n the City ot Olearwater IDtlst be
equipped wi th at least one sink, with running water piped to
the sink.
2. No outside toilet shall be permitted within ~he
limits ot the City ot Clearwa.ter. Every 4wel11118 in the City
shall be equipped w1tb at 1east one inside wa.ter-~lush to1let,
installed in aooordanoe with the provisions of the Plumbing
Code. Provided, however, that in cases where dwellings are
now equipped with outsido water-flush toilets, the use ot
suoh outs1de water-tlush to1lets ma~ oontinue as long as the7
re~in in a san1tar,y oondition and proper working order.
Z. Every dwelling shall oonneot with a sanitary sewer
whenever suoh sner is avaUable, exoept in oases where a proper
septio tank was installed before the sewer beoame available. In
such oases the septio tank mar oontinue to be used as long as it .
remains in proper working order. When the septio tank is no
lo~er in proper working order it shall not be repaired or
r&~laoed, but oonneotion shall then be made with the sanitary
