Butler, Designing Engineer, pursuant to a Resolution heretofore adopted, has tabulated and oon- sidered a11 bids heretofore reoeived for the oonstruotion of Sanitary Sewer Extensions Dooket Number 1106-F and has duly made his reoommendations to the City Oommission, and it ap~earing from said reoommendations and report that the Boyce Company of Clearwater, Florida the lowest and best Bidder for the oonstruction of Sewage Foroe Mains under Division Number 3, Contraot Number 2, at the unit prioe. specified in such bid after deducting alternates Numbers 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12, the mnount being $ 41,051.85, and that this City Commission, after oonsidering said report wad reoommendations and all bids heretofore filed, finds that the bid of the Boyoe Company is the lowest and best bid in the amount of t 41,041.85 after deduoting said alternates: . Butler, Designing Engineer, pursuant to a Resolution heretofore adopted, has tabul~ted and oonsidered all bids heretofore reoeived for the oonstruot- ion of Sanitary Sewer Extensions Docked Number 1105-F and has duly made his reoommendations to the City Commission, and it appearing from said reoommendations and report that J. B. McCrary Oompany, Inc., Atlanta, Georgia, is the lowest and best Bidder for the oonstruction of Division Number 1, Contract Number 11, Sewer Disposal Plant, at the lump sum price specified in suoh bid after deduoting Deductable Alternates Number One and Number Two; and that this City Commission, after considering said report and recommendations and all bids heretofore filed, finds that the bid of J. B. MoCrary Company, Inc., is the lowest and best bid in the amount of $ 74,200.00 after deducting said Alternates: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by.the City Commission of Clearwater, Florida, AS FOLLOWS:' Section 1: That the bid of J. B. McCrary Company, Inc., for the construction of Division of Number 1, Contract Number 11, Sewer Disposal Plant, at the prices specified in such bid, is hereby accepted, determined and declared to be the lowest and best bid; and that a contract for the construction of said work, as heretofore prescribed by the plans, specifications, and contract documents, shall be forthwith executed for such construction. Section 2: That F. L. Hendrix, City Manager, is hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract for and on behalf of the City Commission. Section 3: This contract shall not be effective until the successful bidder is notified in v~iting by the City Manager.
