The Oity Oommission of the Oity of Clearwater met
at a ealled maat1ng in the City Hall at 8:00 o'elook p. m.,

Moved by Mr. Bakar, seo onded by :Mr. Griee and.
unanimously carri ed that the ~ollowing, Resolution be
adopted:
A. RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE STAMPING OF TEE SEWER REVENUE
OERTIFIOATES OF THE CITY OF OLEARWATER, DATED OCTOBER 1, 1938.
SO AS TO SHOW THAT SUCH CERTIFICATES AND THE ORJ)INA.NCE
.A.UTHORIZ ING THEIR I~SUANOE MAY BE MODIFIED OR ALTERED.
.A. letter was read fram ~olhill & Simmons offering
. 25.00 for L~t 10 Blook C of Gre8n\~od Park. On motion
duly made and carried the letter was referred to the City
Manager with instruotions to sett1e the matter at his
disoretion.

A reoommendat ion of the })ark Board was submitted. asking
that Mr. Oharles Shaw be appointed Superintendant o~ Parks.
The City Manager reported to the Commission that he had
appointed Mr. Shaw in eomp1ianoe wi th the reoommendation.
A pro1>osal fro m T. R. :Palma:r was submi tted. offering
to install sprtnklers on oertain parkways in Oarlouel
Subdivision if the City will furnish the water. Moved by
Mr. Baker, seeonded by Mr. Feeler and unanimously earried
that the offer be accepted, subJeot to approval by the
City Manager.
The City Manager read a request from Mrs. Ida Dann
that the welfare allowance be inoreased from $ 50.00 to
$ 60.00 so that the extra $ 10.06 may be used to help
Mann Drew. Moved by Mr. Peeler, seeonded by Mr. Baker and
unanimously carried that the $ 10.00 be allowed and be U8~d
for this specific purpose.
