AN ORDINANCE REGULA'rING IrHE KEEPING OF CHIOKENS,
TURKEYS, DUCKS, GEESE AND GUINEA FOWLS IN THE .
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY DIe' CLEARWATER AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIO~~ION OF THE
TERMS OF THIS ORDINANUE. f.I
EE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA :

SECTION I. Chiokens ~ turkeys I duoks and guinea fowls running' at

hereby deolared 'to be nuisanoes. No person shall 'be allowed
to keep any suoh fowls aforesaid within the Cltr,r, unless the
same be seourely fenced and confined to the premises or the owner.
Ooops and runways 'shall be kept olean and free from orrensive
odore. crowing roo8~era, or o~her noisy fowls, are hereDy de-
clared to be nuisances ~ and sha.Ll no t be kept wi thin the Oi try
after complain1i haabeen made to the Chief of Police that com-
plainant is disturbed ~hereoy, and the Chief of Police has
notified t.he owner of such rowla to remove the same from the City-.
Any person keeping or ma1ntaining such fowl aftier hav1ng rece1ved
n01#1ce to remove the same shall be deemed gu1l~ of maintaining
a nuisance under this seo't1on.

SECTION 2. Any person, flr.m or oorporat10n or aasociation or pe~-
SODS, who shall violate any ot the provisions of this Ordinance, shall
upon conviotion in the MUnicipal Court 'be tined not axceedfng ~he sum
ot $100.00, or imprisoned ~ ~e C1tr,J j~11 not exceeding thirt~ (30)
days, or by bo~h such fine and imprisonment" in the discret10n 01' 'the
MUnioipal Judge.
SECTION 3. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in oonflic~ with
th1s Ordinance be# and 'the same are hereby repealed.
