WHEREAS~ The City of Clea~vater is the o\~er of the hereinafter
described property" and
WHEREAS ~ one 'Val M. Antuono has offered to the City the sum of
Two Thousand (~~~ 000) Dollars in cash for the hereinafter described pro-
perty, subject to outstanding State and County taxes and Municipal taxes
for the year 1938.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of tho City
of Clearwater, Florida, in regular meeting assembled, that the City of

and instructed to cancel of record any and all claims of the City for

of revised audit specifications to cover the City's audit work for
the fiscal year be~ln May 1, 1938. I understand that the Board of
Commissioners desires only a cash audit which will establish that
all cash received by City officials and employees is accounted for,
and that all cash disbursed is on proper authority and in regular
form, and the attached specIfications have been drawn by me and
approved by Mr. Satterfield, City Auditor and Clerk, with these
requirements in mind.
I offer to perform a continuous audit pased upon the
attached specifications for the same remuneration which I am now
receiving for the a.udi t 'Work performed in accordance \\'i th the
scchedule of specifications submitted with my letter of Septem~er
3, 1936, addressed to Me. J. E. Satterfield, City Auditor and Clerk.
I recently con~erred with you and Mr. Satterfield regarding
the inadequacy of mcr present remuneration for the more extensive
auditing 'services which I have been performing during the past two
years, during 'Which time the volume of work has been increasing so
steadifY and mate~ially that I have felt compelled to ask for some
relief. I understand that it is desired by the Board to grant this
relief by way of some decrease in the amount of audit work to be
performed, and in accordance with this decision this letter is now
submitted.
