Mrs. 01'1' ' to c~mplain about the chickens kept by neighbors. Bay Avenue appeared before the Commission Mr. Marsh to get in touch with Mr. Nichols within a few days, after he had conferred with the City Attorney and Chl6f of Police in an effort to determine what relief could be given. Wm. L. Alley a~ked the City Commission to cancel outstanding 01'1:7 taxes and improvement liens on certain lots in Boulevard heights in exchange for $6,000.00 tax notes. He also agreed to deed to the Oity ~T lo~s ob~ained in Block Bo It was agreed that the COmmissioners, Mr. Nich~ls and Mr. Alle,. would meet at 2:t9) P. M. Tuesday, April 19 to go and view the lots, to determine whether this was a fair adjustment. Wm. L. Al1ey presented proposition to the City Commission that if the Oity wou1d fUrnish tar and assistance of the City Engineer, he would fUrnish other labor and material necessar,y to pave Glenwood Avenue from Cleve1.and street to Gulf to Bay, and to pave Franklin Street from Glenwood to HighJ.and with "mixed-in-plaoe" paving. Mr. Alley also agreed that the firm of Alley, Rehbaum and Capes would pay two-thirds of the cost or about $400.00 when t~ City decided to put on a "seal-coat top" on these ..7/.. streets. Moved by Hr.
