The City Connnission of the City of Clenrwater, Floridn, met
the above date, irt regular meeting assembled, with the fOllowinG

Mr. Batchelor introduced the following resolution:

to meot said exrc~'lse, except from futupe sale of the property, and
~}D~\EAS in such cuses, taxes and assessments against the properties
are more than the property could be sold for,
THEREFOHE, BE IT HE::,OL\I~D, that when a property comes into the
hands of the City of Cloarwater throuLh tax forealosure, that city
tax and asnessment liens agninst s9.io. property be immediately
cancelled, and the propel~ty be placed on the books as an asset of'
the Special Land Account at the latest assessed va.lue of sald property.
BE I'r l"UhTEE;{ ;m~:OLVED thut when a property so held is sold,
the proceeds therefrom, over and above the costs of sale, shall be
credited to said Speci[ll Land Account, and applied a~ainst expenses
of foreclosure of lands; any surplus of receipts to be subject to
appropriation by the City Connnission for any proper municipal purpose.

be adopted, and upon roll call, the following vote was polled:
Ayes: Mal~sh, Baker, Barr'y, Batchelor, Grice. Nayes, none,
whereupon tho Mayor-Commissioner declared the resolution unanimously
anopted, and siGned the same.
Mr. Batchelor moved the paSSB[;e of the meat inspeetion ordinance
on its second reading. Seconded by Mr. Barry. upon roll call, the
f'ollowinr.; vote was polled:
Ayes: Marsh, Batchelor, Barl'y, Baker, Grice. ND.'jts: None,
whereupon the Mayor-Co~mssioner declared the Ordinance passed on its
second reading.

Moved by Mr. Barchelor, seconded by Mr. Barry, and carried, that
Lots 5, 7, 9, 11 & 13, Block A, Bassadena, be sold for $450.00, and
Lot 18, Palm Bluff for $350.00.
Moved by Mr. Batchelor, seconded by Mr. Barr~,and carried, that
the City Manaber be authorized to cancel taxes on one lot in Avondale,
in consideration of a deed to a lot tho City needs.
