BE I'r l"UhTEE;{ ;m~:OLVED thut when a property so held is sold, the proceeds therefrom, over and above the costs of sale, shall be credited to said Speci[ll Land Account, and applied a~ainst expenses of foreclosure of lands; any surplus of receipts to be subject to appropriation by the City Connnission for any proper municipal purpose. Nayes, none, whereupon tho Mayor-Commissioner declared the resolution unanimously anopted, and siGned the same. Mr. Batchelor moved the paSSB[;e of the meat inspeetion ordinance on its second reading. Seconded by Mr. Barry. upon roll call, the f'ollowinr.; vote was polled: Ayes: Marsh, Batchelor, Barl'y, Baker, Grice. ND.'jts: None, whereupon the Mayor-Co~mssioner declared the Ordinance passed on its second reading. "" Moved by Mr. Barchelor, seconded by Mr. Barry, and carried, that Lots 5, 7, 9, 11 & 13, Block A, Bassadena, be sold for $450.00, and Lot 18, Palm Bluff for $350.00. Moved by Mr. Batchelor, seconded by Mr. Barr~,and carried, that the City Manaber be authorized to cancel taxes on one lot in Avondale, in consideration of a deed to a lot tho City needs.
