\~ereupon, the Mayor declared the resolution unanimously
adopted and signed the srone.
The matter of using voting machines atthe general city
election was discussed but no action taken.
The Mayor called for objections to the 111stal1ation of storm
sewers road the assessment of the cost thereof against property ..
as set forth 1 n the resollltion passed by the City Connnission October
25, 1937, notice o~ which was published in the Clearwater Sun on
October 28 and November 4, 1937, setting this date ~or the Commission
to hear objections to said propssed improvement and asaessment. No
objections were presented.
Mr. Batchelor introduced the following resolution:
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COlUHSSIOH OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, DETEillJINING TO PROCEED TO
INSTALL STORM SEWERS IN A CERTAIN SECTION OF
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA.

~YHEREAS, the City Commission o~ the City or Clearwater, Florida,
on the 25th day of October, 1937, passed and adopted a resolution
dec1ar1ng its intention to install storm sewers in the following
section of the City o~ Clearwater, Florida,to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of tbe center line
of Georgia St~eet and C1e~ater Bay, thence east
to the center line of Fort Harrison Avenue, thence
generally north to the center line o~ Eld~1dge
Street, thence east to the center line of Atlantic
Coast Line Railroad, thence generally north to the
center line of Seminole Street, thence east to the
center line of Pennsylvania Avenue, thence south to
the center line of Drew Street, thence west to the
center line 0 f Booth Avenue, thence south to the
center line of Cleveland Street, thence west to the
center line of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad,
thence north generally to a line 180 feet south
of the south property line o~ Drew street, thence
West to the center line of Fort Harrison Avenue,
thence south to a line 213 feet south o~ the south
property line of Drew Street, thence west to the
center line of Osceola Avenue, thence south to a
line 85 feet north of the north property line of
Sunset Court, thence west to Clearwater Harbor on
a line 85 feet north of the nOI'th build:lng line of
Sunset Court, thence returning along the waters o~
C1earwater Harbor to the point of beginning,

in the Clearwater Evening Sun directing persons interested to file
their objeotions at this meeting of' the City Connnission, and
WHEHEAS, said notioe was published in the Clearwater Sun, a
newspapor of' general circulation in the City of' Clearwater, F1o-
rida, on October 28 end November 4, 1937, and
VflilmEAS, no objeotions to said proposed iDlprovement or the
assessment of the cost thereof have been presented,

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the City Commission does hereby
determine to proceed with said improvements and when said improve-
menta have been completed, the cost thereof shall be assessed
against the property benefited by said improvement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, this 8th day of November, A. D. 1937.
