The City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, met on the
above date, in regular meeting assembled, with the following members
present~
L. A. Marsh, Aoting
D. o. Batohelor,

The City Manager presented compilation of bids for gasoline purohases
for the next twelve months.
Moved by Mr. Batchelor, aeconded by Mr. Baker,
and carried, that tlle contraot be awarded to the Shall Company, being the
l.owest b1dder.
Mr. Barry voted "No."
The Mayor announced that objeotions would be heard oonoerning
the installation of sanitary sewers in Section three of Clearwater BeacL
Island, as advertised, pursuant to resolution passed Au~st 16th.
The following pep1tion was thereupon presented:
"We believe that there is a. better method of sewage
disposal for Clearwater Beaoh Island than that proposed
by the city Engineer, and respectfully request the City
Council to hold this matter in abeyanoe, ~or a period of
30 days in order to give us sufficient time to make
further investigation."

Moved by Mr. Batchelor, seconded by Mr. Baker, and carried, that
the matter be de~erred for thirty days.
Moved by Mr. Batchelor, seconded by Mr. Barry, and carried,
that $1000 be transferred from the budget for streets in the north
end of the city, to be used in repairing damage by storm water,
and that an additional $1000 be and is hereby appropriated for that
purpose.
Moved by Mr. Barry, seconded by Mr. Batchelor, and carried, that
an additional $2000 be appropriated for reconstruction of Druid Road
Bridge.
Moved by ~~. Batchelor, seconded by Mr! Baker, and carried, tllat
the single house rate be applied to multiple occupancies thru one
meter on one lot, and to appartment and business buildings.
Moved by Mr. Baker, seconded by Mr. Batohelor. and oarried, that
the Building Inspeotor be instructed not to issue permdts for driveways
into gasoline filling stations except with restrictions set forth in
the proposed ordinance regulating such driveways.
Moved by Mr. Batchelor, seconded by Mr. Baker, and earrlsd, that (/
proposition of A11ey, Rehbaum and Capes, to settle all taxes and as-
sessments on 85 lots in Crest Lake Subdivision in oonsideration of a
deed to the City of a strip of land along the west side of Crest Lake
Park from the present park to the east line of G~enwood Avenue,
extended, and a dedication or right of way for Glenwood Avenue and
Franklin street, also $15000 face value of Delinquent Tax Note., be
, accepted.

Moved b~ Mr. Batohelor, seconded by Mr. Baker, and oarried,
that the city acoept ~~250.00 in full settlement of taxes and assessments
against lot 4 Block 19, Gould & Ewing'S 2md Sub.
There being no ~urther business, the meeting was thereupon adjourned.
