County, and whloh said plat was approved for reoord on the aforesaid
date by the Oity Manager of the Cit~ or Clearwater,
AND, WHEREAS, a portion of the lands includ.ed in above plat
were ~ly re-platted on May 8, 1936, and, after aoceptance bY" the Board
of Commiss1oners of the Oity ot Clearwater, said plat was tiled for re-
oo~ in Plat Book 21, on page 13, or the ~bllo Reoords of P1nellas

Florlda, whioh bas been re-platted as shown by plat reoorded 1n Plat
Book 21, page 13, ot the Publlo Reoords of Pinellas count~, Flor1da,
be, and the same is hereb1 vaoated, set aslde and held for naught, and
the North 20 feet of Clearwater street as shown on said plat ot Handalay,
Unlt #5, be and the same ls hereby olosed, and publio easement and ~1ght
in and to same ls hereby relinquished and released; and that luanita Way,

RESOLUTION
Be it resolved by' the CltY' Commlssioners ot the City of Clearwater,
Florida, in meeting assembled, that the Mayor-Commissloner be, and he
hereby is, author1zed to enter 1nto an agreement with the Atlantio Coast
Line Railroad Company, and to sign same on behalf of sald C1ty, whereby
the said Railroad Company gives and grants unto the said City the right
and privl1ege to lay and maintain, for the pu.rpose of water and gas
malns, linea of pipe aoross the right of way and under the traok of the
Atlantlo Coast Llne Railroad at looations in the City of Clearwater, as
folihows:-
A 4-inoh cast iron ~lpe at a point 2015 feet northwardly
trom mile post 134 (Sanford mileage); .
A 6-inoh cast iron water pipe at a point 1400 feet north-
wardly from sald mile post.
A 6-inoh oast iron Water pipe at a point '700 feet southwardly
from said mile post 134;
A 6-Inoh cast iron gas pipe at a point 1400 feet southwardly
trom said mile post.
A 10-inoh cast iron water ~ipe at a point 2223 feet north-
wardly from mile post 135 (Sanf'ord Mileage);
A 2-inoh cast iron water pipe at a p~nt 195 feet northwardl,.

at suoh an alarudng rate as to excite the OOnCeI'D of' the C1tl'
Commission and as the City has no funds to prooeed to OOns'tIWUot the
necessary groins to proteot this Beaoh and stop tlds erosion, 'theretozae
the Commission hereby instructs the Mayor to request the WPA Distr10t
Db-ector to approve app11oatlon for lTojeot No. 18 tor grobs to protect
this portion ot the Beaoh that is owned and oontJ:lloJ.led by the C1.t.,. ent1reb.
And that the Commission herenth certify 'that to the best of thea
knowledge and beliet, the groins prpposed 'to be bu1lt undeI- tbis project
are now wholly and entire1y on property owned and oontrolled try the C i'tT
of CleaI'Water."
