PERMITS FO n DIS TRIBtI'l'J:NG PLANTS OR PLAOE WHERE MILK IS HANDLED: No lIdlk shall be handled in the City of Olearwater wi'thou.t a permit 1s~&d by the Health Offioer or otherwise than in aocordanoe wi th the terms ot said permit and rlth the regtllationa of the said Health Department. The provisions of this seo'tion ahall not apply 'to m11k when sold in hotels, restaurants and retail stores when suoh milk has been obtained trom one already in lawfUl possession ot a permit for the deliver1 of milk wit~n the City of Clearwater. and has not been interm:1xed in whole or in part, with milk obtained trom one no~ 80 quali~ied. Eaoh person desiring a permit from the Health Departa ment for handling tn11k shall make applioation thereror on a :torm to be furni shed by said Health Department. Th.e Health Department shall not issue a pertn1t for handling milk: until a~ter the applioant :eheref'or has oomplied in all respeots with the te~8 of the Dairy Code of the City of Clearwater as hereby amended and until after an examination haa been made b'1 the Dairr Inspeotor as to the sanitary oonditions of' ~he plaoe where the milk is to be .jlold and of t~e p1ace where the milk 18 to be hand.led in any way, . and of the dairy farms where Said milk is pl'"Oduced and the Health Department ~s satisfied that the oare and troatment 01' said milk shall be in aooordanoe with tb.e terms of this code and the regulations of' said Health Department. That Seotion 19 of the Dairy Oode of the 01 ty of C 1earwa'bel'~ Florida, Ordinanoe No. 284. be and the same is hereby- amended to read as follows : Sec. 19_ LABELING ; All id.lk and cream shall be labeled in aooordanoe w~th the grades horeinatter estab1:1shed. Such labels shall state the grade of milk or oream and whether raw or pasteurized" and the state in wb1.oh milk or oream or~ginated, the nature of the product (milk or oream) and the name of the dairY' or distributing plant from whioh sold. No labels shall be used until a sample has been submitted to the Hel\lth Officer and approved by him. No grades of milk or O1'eam except those hereinafte1' provided for shall be offioial1y reoognized by the Oitr Health Off~oer, and no additional statement of the grade of any milk or oream sha11 appear on any labo1 when delivered to the oonsumer, unless approved in each oase by the o~ty Health Offioer. S~CTION iII. That Section 26 of the Dai~ Code of the City of Clear- waj;eI-, Flor'.d~, Ordinanoe No. 284, be and the same is hereby amended ~o read as ~ollows : ".".-', Sea. 26. No person having a co~ioable disease or caring for or coming in con~act with any person so af~lioted, or ~ho is a oa~rier of oommunioable disease, shall handle milk, and all m1~ d~s'trlbutor8 or produoers holding or appJ.~ng for permits under the terms of this oode shall cause all persons employed by them in or abOl1t their dairies, milk houses, places of distributiOn and upon vehioles o~ distribution 'who 1n any manner come in contact with milk, or e:xposed or placed in position to oome in contact with m1.lk, 'to be e:xamined bY' a resident physio~an of the City of Clearwater, to be designated b,y ~he Oity Oommis8lon ~or c~ioable disease at least semi-annually, and at anT other time that the Health Officer may direot. Those found free trom communioable disease shall be furnished a Health Cer'tif1oate in aooordance with the regula'tiona of the Health Department .~. SEOTION iV.
