The City Commission of the City of Clearwater, F1o~1da met on the
above date in regular meeting assembled with the following members present:

Moved by Mr. Marsh, seconded by ~~. Batchelor and oarried that the
Oity Manager be instructed to write the parties who assisted in e~piditing
the approval of PV1A projeots for water and gas e~tens1on~ expressing the
appz-eciation of the City Commission for this valuable service.
Moved by Mr. Bntchelor~ seconded by ~~. Barry and carried that the
bill for paint on the K. of p. Hall be paid.
Moved by Mr. Marsh, seconded by Mr. Batchelor and carried that 'Mr.
Polhill be paid ~2,OOO on account and Nathan R. Graham, Special Master,
,be paid $l~OOO on account of bankruptcy proceeding.
Moved by Mr. Marsh, seconded by Mr. Baker and carried that an
additional appropr~ation of $3GO~O be made for moving the Veterans camp
from its present location to tbe Beach.
Moved by Mr. Baker, seconded by Mr. Marsh and carried that City
taxes on the present Vetorans camp property be canoe1ed as payment of
rent for the use of the said property as Veterans camp for the paat year
and a half', the descl'ipt1.on being Lots one to sixty-four, inclusive,
Cleveland Grove, of Lot seven ~r Hanosek'a, and the west halr of Lot
eight of Hanosek's sub, face amount $169.69.
,~oved by Mr. Batchelor, seconded by Mr. Marsh and carried that the
City Olerk be authorized to cancel all taxes and paving liens outstanding
against properties owned by the Water and Gas Departments of the City,
at the proper time.

OEDIN~~CE NO. 406.
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND RESTRICTING THE USE OF
THE PROPERTY~ roCK, DOCKING SPACE AND BOAT SLIHS
OWNED BY THE CITY OF CLEARWATER AND LOCATED IN FRONT
OF THE CITY AUDITORIUM AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR
THE VIOLlfilION OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISS ION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That no person shall dock a boat uaed Jrpr connnercial
purposes or for hire at or on the property. dock or docking space
owned by the City of Clearwater located in rront of the City Aud:t-
tOI'ium for a longer period than four (4) hours, nor shall any-
peI'son dock a boat privately owned and used for private purposes
at said aforesaid places for a longer period than ten (10) hou~sl
unless he shall havi first secured a permit; from the City Manager
of the City of Clearwater, Florida.
SECTION 2. That any person applying to the City Manager for a permit
as set rarth in Section 1 of this Ordinance ~ha1l first pay to the
City Manager a docking charge of the ~m of ~25.00 per day tor
each and every day, or f'raation thereof, that said property, dock
or docking space is so used~
SECTION 3. That the City Manager of the City of Clearwater be.
and he is hereby t\uthoriz:ed and em:powered to rent the boat slips
located at said dock and to fix ~d determine the amount or renta1
therefor.

SECTION 4. That no person shall allow any boats to occupy, nor

said dook without f"irst having paid to the Citry Manager the
mnount oX rental charged therefor.
SECTION 6. That no motor vehicle shall at a~ time be allowed on
sa.id dook.
SECTION 6. Any pe~son who'sha1l violate an7 of the prov.1sions ot
this Ord1.nanoe shall ttpon oonv1.otion l.n the l'Ihln1cipal Oourt be
f1ned not exoeeding the sum of $300.00, or imprisoned in the Oity
jail not e~oeeding s1.xty (60) days, or by both Baoh fine and im-
prisonment, in the disoretion of the ~~o1ppl Judge.
SECTION 7. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinanoe in conflict here-
w.1th are liereby repealed.
SECTION 8. This Ordinance sha~l take affect immediately upon its
pas sage.
