(Planning and Urban Development) At the April 20, 1986 work session the Commission was given a presentation regarding a proposal by the Sembler Company to provide an offsite mitigation effort in order to permit the removal of a 2 acre plus/minus protected wetland at Sembler's property at the intersection of Drew st. and U.S. 19. The mitigation effort would be in the form of a cash donation of $200,000 to be used in the development of certain parcels of land into a nature preserve, a portion of which is privately owned land within the City limits of Safety Harbor, yet abutting land owned by the City of Clearwater.
