ITEM 149 - Clearwater Beach - Concept for New Sign and Landscaping (Parks and Recreation). A new sign and landscaping is proposed for the triangle looated at Mandalay Avenue and Marianne Street on Clearwater Beach. The sign would be made of ooncrete blocks with a stucco finish. Lettering would be raised anodized aluminum and baok-lighted. Maintenance of the proposed landsoaping is not expected to require any more time than that presently expended for the site. ITEM IXVa. - Request to Name Ruth Eokerd Hall Entranoe Road "McFarland Drive." (PACT). The PACT Exeoutive Committee is requesting approval to name the City owned driveway for Mrs. Heber (Jane) McFarland. She has been a member of the PACT Board of Directors since November 5, 1979 and major contributor to the construction fund. No action was taken pending action by the PACT Board of Directors. ITEM IXVb. - Bomber Stadium FenCing, (Parks and Recreation), Smith Fence Company $16,053.03. The new ballfield and stadium under construction at Carpenter Field needs fenCing. There is money bUdgeted in a capital project for this expenditure. Commissioner Calder bank moved to approve the contract and that the appropriate officials be authorized to execute same. Motlaa was duly seconded and oarried unanimously. ITEM IXVc. - Resolution 185-10 Water and Navigation Aot. Commissioner Berfield moved to pass and adopt Resolution '85-10 and to authorize the appropriate officials to execute same. Motion was dUly seconded.
