No. 78 ..1'34.
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE SIDEWALK ABUTTING
LOTS 14 AND 15 BIDWELL'S OAKWOOD ADDITION TO
BE REPAIREM
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater passed
Resolution No. 78-133 declaring its intent to repair the sidewalk abutting
Lots 14 and 15, Bidwell's Oakwood Addition; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission scheduled a public hearing regarding
such sidewalk repair for the public hearing portion of the City Commission
meeting to be held December 21, 1978; and
WHEREAS, notice was published on December 11, 1978, and on
December 18, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has conducted such public hearing
and finds that such repair should be made;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the owners of Lots 14 and 15, Bidwell's Oakwood Addition,
according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 1, page 46 of
the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, ,Tune B. Jones and Vallie
P. Briggs pursuant to Section 122 of the Charter of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, are hereby ordered to repair the sidewalk abutting the lots identified
herein within thirty (30) days of the passage of this resolution.
2. That such repair is to be done in accordance with plans and
specifications to be kept an file with the City Clerk and City Engineer.
3. That if the owners identified herein fail to repair such sidewalk
within the thirty (30) day period provided for herein, then the City of Clearwater
shall repair the sidewalk and the cost of such repair shall be assessed against
' the lots identified herein which abut such sidewalk.

4. That if such cost is assessed against "such late and such ansessment
is not paid within ton (10) days from the making thereof, the City of Clearwater
may issue certificates of indebtedness against the abutting property described
herein, such certificates to be payable in not leas than three (3) nor more
than ten (10) equal annual installments with interest to be at the rate of

eight per cent J8%p) per annum until paid, such interest to be payable annually. #
5. That this resolution shall be published in a newspaper of general

circulation in the City of Clearwater once a week for two weeks. l
