RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER TO ENTER INTO AN EASEMENT
AGREEMENT RELATING TO THE CONSTRUCTION
AND MAINTENANCE OF A RAILROA D CROSSING AT
FAIRWOOD AVENUE.
WHEREAS, a railroad crossing is proposed at Fairwood Avenue in
Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, all preliminary steps necessary to accomplish the
construction of such crossing have been completed; and
WHEREAS, the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company has submitted
an agreement covering the final construction phase of the crossing; and
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interests of the City of Clearwater
if such crossing is constructed;
.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. . That the City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through its
City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into and execute an easement
agreement dated October 6, 1976, with the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad
Company relating to the construction and maintenance of a crossing at
Fairwood Avenue, Coachman, in Clearwater, Florida.
Z. That a certified copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the
Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company,
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of November, A. D. 1976.
