A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND PICOT B. FLOYD, CITY MANAGER, IN
A SUIT FILED AGAINST HIM BY ALEX D. FINCH IN
THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE SIXTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT
WHEREAS, suit has been filed in the Cir.tuit Court of the Sixth Judicial
Circuit of the State of Florida in and for Pinellas County, styled Alex D.
Finch vs. Picot B. Floyd, as an individual and Picot B. Floyd as City Manager„
of City of Clearwater, Circuit Civil No, 76-6002..16; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to authorize the City Attorney
to defend said action on behalf of Picot B. Floyd, City Manager of the City
of Clearwater, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all actions
necessary to defend Picot B. Floyd, City Manager of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, in the law suit filed in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit
of the State of Florida in and for Pinellas County, styled Alex D. Finch vs.
Picot B. Floyd, as an individual and Picot B. Floyd as City Manager of the
City of Clearwater, Circuit Civil No. 76-6ooz-16.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July, A. D. 1976.
