RESOLUTION
No, 75 - 96
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has received a Public Notice
that Port Builders, Inc. , 100 Pierce Street, Clearwater, Florida, has
applied to the Department of the Army for a permit to construct a pier in
Clearwater Harbor, being SAJSP Permits 75-D-236; and
WHEREAS, the Marine Advisory Committee of the City of Clearwater
design of the dock as presently requested would constitute a navigational
and boating hazard and problem;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
w? IN SESSION REGULARLY AND DULY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater hereby opposes construction of a pier
or dock in Clearwater Harbor by Port Builders, Inc. that will constitute a
navigational hazard and requests the Corps of Engineers to carefully review
the application for the permit to construct such a pier.

reduced and redesigned so as not to constitute a navigational and boating
hazard and problem.
3. That a certified copy of this Resolution be transmitted forthwith
to the District Engineer, Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, PO Box
4970, Jacksonville, Florida 32201
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of August, A. D. 1975.
