6947-02 ORDINANCE NO. 6947-02 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF SKY HARBOR DRIVE, APPROXIMATELY 520 FEET SOUTH OF GULF TO BAY BOULEVARD, CONSISTING OF A PARCEL OF LAND LYING WITHIN THE SOUTHWEST ONE-QUARTER OF SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 565 SKY HARBOR DRIVE, FROM OFFICE (0) TO INSTITUTIONAL (0; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the amendment to the zoning atlas of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby rezoned, and the zoning atlas of the City is amended as follows: Property ZoninQ District See attached legal description From: Office (0) (LUZ 01-12-09) To: Institutional (I) Section 2. The City Engineer is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the City in accordance with the foregoing amendment. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, subject to the approval of the land use designation set forth in Ordinance 4946-02 by the Pine lias County Board of County Commissioners, and subject to a determination by the State of Florida, as appropriate, of compliance with the applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act, pursuant to ~163.3189, Florida Statutes.
