WHEREASi the City of Clearwater has received a report from the
Pinellas County Health Department, the local representative of the Florida
Division of Health, that based on a field survey and appropriate tests a health
hazard exists within the unincorporated geographic area known as Sunset
Gardena Subdivision and that the continued reliance by residents thereof on
'•~ a eptic tank systems as a means of sewage waste disposal is hazardous to the
City of Clearwater and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said House Bill 5436, the City
Commission passed Resolution No. 70-106 declaring its intention to hold
a public hearing to determine the need and necessity to construct sanitary sewer
lines and facilities in Sunset Gardens Subdivision, Pinellas County, Florida,
on the 14th day of Decembex, at 1:30 P. M. in the City Hall Auditorium,
llz S. Osceola Avenue, Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, notice of hearing was properly published and furnished
in accordance with the terms and requirements of said House Bill 5436, and

(50%) higher than is charged for a like class of service to a like class of
