WHEREAS, pursuant to the procedure established in Ordinance
Nn. 1111 of tho Gity of Clearwater relating to minimum housing standards,
and the Southern Standard Housing Cade, the Building Official of the City
of Clearwater has caused to be Inspected the following described real property
and the building situated thereon:
Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Lincoln Place, according
tv map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 3,
page 27, of the Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida.
Also known as 1008 Grant Street, Clearwater, Pinellas
County, Florida.
The record title holder to said property appears to be
Edward Harrison, whose residence was listed as 2066
Ewald Circle, Detroit, Michigan, according to the Public
Records and the current tax roll of Pinellas County, Florida;
and
WHEREAS, based upon said inspection, the Building Official determined
F~ that said property and the building thereon were unsafe, unsanitary, unfit for
l~ human habitation and did not properly comply with the requirements of
z~ Ordinance No. 1111 of the City of Clearwater relating to minimum housing
standards and the Southern Standard Housing Code; and
a
WHEREAS, on or about April 12, 1968, written notice was
furnished to the owner by certified mail, return receipt requested, setting
forth said deficiencies and violations and advising him that he had sixty
t60) days from the date thereof to properly comply and correct said
deficiencies and violations; and
1VHEREAS, on May 22, 1968, the owner was further notified by
letter that the final compliance date in connection with said property was
June 12, 1968; and
WHEREAS, on July 3, 1968, a further inspection was made of said
property and it was found that no remedial action to properly comply had
been taken by the owner or anyone on his behalf; and

FOLLOWS:
1. The City Commission, after proper notice and public hearing,
a.zd having considered the evidence and testimony presented, finds that no
objections have been filed or presented or that the objections filed or presented
are deemed iy~sufficient, further finds that the above described real property
and the building situated thereon are unsafe, unsanitary, unfit for human
habitation and dangerous and detrimental to the health, safety, morals and
general welfare of the community, and do not properly comply with the
requixements of Ordinance No. 1111 of the City of Clearwater relating to
minimum housing standards and the Southern Standard Haueing Code.
2, Further, that the City Commission does hereby agree and concur
with and in the finding and detexmination of the Building Official of the City of
Clearwater concerning said real property and the building thereon and the
occupant, if any, and/or the owner, Edward E. Harrison, or both, are
ordered within thirty {30) days after the passage and adoption of this
