The Gity of Clearwater hereby does officially request and urge the Legislature of the State of Florida in its consideration of a new Conetftuiion for the State to carefully consider this problem, and in providing for tax exemption to do so in such a manner that it cannot be extended beyond the basic purposes for which it is granted, and thereby to prevent further erosion of the tax base. ~:~~':~ 2.
