WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater is sympathetic to the Governor's

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION ~7F THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
~: iN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
~~: FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater is opposed to any special legislation
concerning occupational license taxes which would tend to decrease the amount
of revenue raised by the City of Clearwater from such taxes inasmuch as
the City operates on a tight budget and would have to find other means of
taxation tv replace the revenue lost thereby.
2. That the City of Clearwater has what it considers the proper
machinery far collection of its occupational license taxes and feels that
it can dv the better job. under the present circumstances.
