ORDINANCE NO. 6640-01 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY CONSISTING OF THE SOUTHWEST EXPANSION AREA OF THE DOWNTOWN CLEARWATER PERIPHERY PLAN AND IS BOUNDED BY SOUTH FORT HARRISON AVENUE TO THE WEST, CHESTNUT STREET TO THE NORTH, THE PINELLAS TRAIUEAST AVENUE TO THE EAST AND DRUID ROAD TO THE SOUTH, FROM COMMERCIAL AND OFFICE TO DOWNTOWN; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the amendment to the zoning atlas of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby rezoned, and the zoning atlas of the City is amended as follows: Property Zonina District See attached Exhibit A (Z 00-10-01) From: Commercial and Office To: Downtown Zonina Map See attached Exhibit B Section 2. The City Manager or designee is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the City in accordance with the foregoing amendment. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
