RESOLUTION
Na. 63 '- 117
~~"'~•~~~~ ~~~~' ~~ •~WI~EItEAS, all reports indicate that the 19b3-b4 tourist season
will produce a bumper crop of touris#s; and
WHEREAS, the, City Commission of the City of Clearwater has
deemed it necessary to have aCity-wide community campaign of clean
up, paint up and beautification undertaken during the period between
October 14 and November 14, 19b3, and that all departments of the City
government of the City of Clearwater will cooperate; and
WHEREAS, all residents of. Clearwater have been requested to
remove from their properties the last vestige of the December, 1962,
freeze as well ae any and all other debris and place the same in the City
parkways to be picked up and removed by trucks and personnel of the City
Refuse Division; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater is the county seat of Peerless
Pinellas County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS: '
That the Board of County Commissioners are hereby respectfully
requested to waive all charges against the City of Clearwater for depositing
limbs, trash and debris on the County owned fill located on U. S. 19 near
its intersection with the Drew Stxeet extension during the period of time
that this campaign is going on, to wit: October 14 thru November l4, 19b3.
