WHEREAS, the lacy of Clearwater has determined that it is to the boat
irterast of the people of the City of Clearwater to extend and expand its sewer
collaetion system; and
WHEREAS, it has determined after careful study and suxveys by competent
engineers that the mair. transmission lino must traverse certain properties be-
longing to individuals both inside and outside: of the City limits of the City of
Clearwatex; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to obtain permanent easements and temporary
easements over certain lands. and that the said easements must traverse '
certain lands belonging to Charles R. Anderson and Celestine A. Anderson,
his wife; and
WHEREAS. the Cityes only means of completing said project is by
acquisition of property by grant of easement for necessary rights of way for
the extension of said sewer line by means of condemnation proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMIS-
SION OF THE CFTY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION
DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the appropxiate officials of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
era hereby instructed and dixected to obtain all necessary surveys and escecute
all necessary instruments, documents, checks for payment of money, bandy,
pleadings and other papers which are i.ncidentai and necessary to the in-
stitution of condemnatian pxoceedings to acquire the following property by
grant of easement as set forth by parcels in the attached Exhibit "lee which
is incorporated herein by reference and made a part hereof as though eat
out, which said land to be acquired belongs to the said Charles R. Anderson
and Celestine A. Anderson, his wife.
z. The City Attorney i s hereby instructed to institute condemnation
proceedings in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of the State of
Florida for the purpose of acquiring said property at the earliest passible
moment for sanitary sewer easement purposes to be used for `.he installation
~`°y and maintenance of the said sewer line.
