RESOLUTION
No. b4 - I55
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, a Florida municipal corporation,
has acquired certain hereinafter described real properties fox road right
of way and other public use purposes; and
WHEREAS, said City of Clcazwatex desires that the Board of County
Commissioners of Pinellas County discharge any and all liens for taxes,
delinquent or current, held or owned by the County or the State of Florida
upon said lands heretofore acquired by said City of Clearwater and to .
fuxther provide that said lands shall be exempt from County taxation so
long as the same arc owned and used for such public purpose; and
WHEREAS, Florida Statutes, 1863, 192.59, Taxation; cancellation
of delinquent taxes upon lands used for road purposes, etc. , grants to the
Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas County, Florida, full p°wer and
authority to accomplish this request;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TkiE CITY
