" . ~ ( . ~' "; CITY COMMISSION MEETING November 2, 1967 The City Commission of the City of Clearwater met in special session as Trustees of the Pension Fund, at the City flall, Thursday, November 2, 1967, at 11 A.M. with the following members present: j' H. Everett Hougen Clifton Stephens Geo. R. Brumfield Donald S. Williams Cal Blackstone, Jr. Also present were: G. B. Weimer Herbert M. Brown ~ayor-Commissioner Commissioner Commissioner Commissioner Commissioner Acting City Manager City Attorney The Finance Director presented a memo to the Board of Trustees requesti~g authority to purchase common stock as circumstances appear favorable from the following list: American Home Products Goodyear Tire & Rubber Container Corporation National Dairy Scott Paper Company American Metal Climax Union Carbide General Motors Diamond Alkali West Virginia Pulp & Paper l'lewmont ~ining General American Transportation Consolidated Edison General Foods Public Service Electric & Gas of America Commissioner Blackstone moved that the Finance Director be authorized to acq~ire any of the common stock listed, for the employee's pension fund, as the circum- stances appear favorable and in accordance with Chapter 67-1212, Special Acts of Florida, 1967.
