The Mayor announced the purpose of the meeting ~as to tentatively adopt the 1965-1966 budget. The Assistant City Attorney read Resolution #65-101 adopting a budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1965, and ending September 30, 1966; setting a tax of 10.2 mills for operation purposes, 2.0 mills for pension purposes and 1.3 mills for bonded indebtedness; setting a public hearing on the budget for 1:30 P.M., Au~st 30, 1965. Commissioner Insco moved to approve and adopt Resolution #65-101 and the proper officials be aut~orized to execute it.
