Turner, Sr. Commissioner Also present were; ! ? James R, Stewart City 14ana?;er ]lerbert M, Brown City Attorney Max Battle City Enl;ineer ' Sgt. Meissner Representing Police Chief Absent: Cleveland Insco Commissioner The Mayor called the meeting to order. The invocation was given by the City Attorney. The City Attorney presented Resolution N62-51 authorizing the payment of $75.00 from the }3ridge Revenue Bonds Construction Trust Fund to the Chase Manhattan Bank, New York City, to pay the bank's fee for handling interest coupons, Commissioner Turner moved that Resolution I'do, 62-51 be adopted and that the proper officials be authorized to execute it. Motion oras seconded by Commissioner Fields and carried unanimously. The City Attorney presented Resolution 162-52 authorizing the transfer of • $35,G25,00 from the Bridge Revenue Sonds Construction Trust Fund to the City of Clearwater Bridge Revenue t3ond Interest and Sinking Fund to nay the bond interest due play 1st, 1962, Commissioner Fields moved that ]Resolution #62-52 be approved and the proper officials be authorized to execute it. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Turner and carried unanimously. • The City Manager presented bids on library bookstacks and accessories for the colored library and recommended the bid of Estey Corporation. Commissioner Turner moved, upon the recommendation of the City 1•tanager, the Library Director and Assistant Purchasing Agent that the lowest bid of $3,365.00, submitted by Estey Corporation of Red rank, Pdew Jersey, be accepted and that the proper offi- ', cials be authorized to execute the contract. .°Iotion was seconded by Commissioner ?, Fields and carried unanimously. The City Manager read a letter from Robert A, Freeze, City ?rosecutor, tender- • ing his resignation, but agreeing to finish all pending and continued cases and also stating that he would be available until a successor had been appointed, Commissioner Turner moved to accept with rep;ret the resignation of Robert A. Freeze as City Prosecutor under conditions set forth in his letter and that a letter of congratulations and a citation for a job well done be sent to him. ', Motion coas seconded by Commissioner Fields and carried unanimously, ', It was announced that letters of application for the City Prosecutor position had been received from Jack `?Jhite, Jr,, Joseph S. Clark and idorris S, Gould. Commissioner Smith moved to excuse Commissioner Insco for this meeting as he is out of town.
