Gentlemen:
I submitted a letter last December requestin~ the aboved property be rezoned
for business. I have been in the belief that this property had been rezoned at that
time, as business property.
I am now under contract with a purchaser" \'/11(;; I have told that this property has
been rezoned for busj.ness. I checj~ed the city !lecords as a percautionary step, and
found that ther had been ncthinlS recorded :Ln 08ha1f of' this request.
I am now resubm:i ttinc; my request for reze,n:Lng this property as business property.
Please try to consider thj,s as a HARDSHIP CASE, as it is in your authority to approve
this without delay.
It is possible that it could be an oversiGht as the zoning map does not show the
adjoining property north of the above property, nmled by the Sinclair Oil Co. There
also is a Beaty Shop, Drug" and Post Office 1n the same block on So. Missouri" that
do not show on The Zoning map as business property.

Dear Mr. Tallent,
We" Marie A. and Frederick J. Kuhn al"e the owners of the property described as
Second Addition Sunset Point, Block G, Lots 17-18-19-20-21-22, Hap of' tIle City of
Clearwater, Florida.
We appeal to the City Commission to grant us a variance in the present Zoning
covering our property from R 4 to Business.
This request is in accordance with the original official Zoning Map of the City
of Clearwater, Florida, adopted Dec. 5, 1951, and was made a part of Ordinance No. 627,
which Ordinance became effective Dec. 9, 1952.
Because of the change in this section during the last five years the present
R 4 Zone creates a definite hardship in our case, we therefore appeal to the City
Board of Adjustment and Appeal to favor us i'li th this request for a change of Zoning.
Very truly yours;
