CITY COMMISSION MEETING
.July 29" 1957
(Continued)
Subject to certain conditions hereinafter set out" my clients (the owners of the
above described property) Charles O. Updyke and Robert P. Hilleboe" desire the
favorable recommendation and approval of your office, t()gether with the ofrice of the
City Engineer and the City Commission, to such proposed annexation.
I},'he said property comprises land of slightly less than 10 acres exclusive of
existing road right-of-way.
By action or the Board of County Conunlssioners on May l6J 1957" the said property
herein described was zoned C-2 Commercial for traj, ler park use.
Conditions attached to the proposed annexation are as follows:
1. That the city provi.de and maintain sewage facilities which shall attach to
and carry away sewage from lines installed by the owners at a point lying within 301
of the NE corner of the above described property in such a manner as to comply with
the conditions and applicable standards approved by the City Engineer for such purposes;
that there presently exists a city sewer line running north and south along South
Betty Lane within 30' of the proposed sewer line cupling.
2. That the City of Clearwater designate and approve said area sought to be
annexed as a trailer park.
1''\:'1
~f0'~{~I{ ,
The owners herein mal{e known their intentions to conform to all applicable
regulations of disposal of sewage waste and such other matters and things governing
the use of trailer parks according to such regulations an~or conditions as may now
or hereafter exist in the City of Clearwater, Florida.
Urgent action is desired, either pro or con, upon this request,
Submitted herewith are proposed plans for said trailer park as have been approved

Request of Hilleboe & Updyke (Attorney R. C. Davis)
(Trailer parl{)
7/12/5'7
It is the recommendation or the Zoning Board that the application or Mr. Davis on
behalf of Hilleboe & Updylw ror annexa tton a portion of Lot 9, of F. E. Hanousek' s
Subdivision" and zoning to permit use as a Trailer park, be denied. The reason for
this is that this property ls co-terminous on the Northeast and southeast corners with
present ilnproved R-l property in the City of Clearwater, and present improved R-l
property is in existence to the north of tills property, which distance is only
approximately 150'" and it 1s the opinion of this Board that the general area will
shortly be used exclusively for R-l purposes. The Board also strongly disapproved
of the proposed Trailer Parle which does not continue the right-of-i'lay from Betty Lane
Street south of Jeffords.
Attached hereto is survey, letter and let plan.
