Upon consideration of the appeal of Clouster Bryant from
the decision of the Building Official concerning a special
exception for a non-commercial off-street parking lot on Lot
36, Block D, Greenwood Park H2, Hhich property is located at
1106 Engman Street and is zoned RM-l2 (duplex-apartment resi-
dential), it appearing, after this duly constituted public hear-
ing, that the proposed use is consistent with the general zoning
plan and with the public interest, Mr. Regulski moved that said
appeal be granted in accordance with the application submitted
therewith, with the provision that the right to obtain a use
permit in accordance with said special exception shall cease
after six (6) months from this date. Mr. Morris seconded the
motion which carried unanimously.
ITEM #2 - Request of A. G. Spanos Enterprises, Inc., for
a special exception for a collection agency.
The Building Official reported this application,was sub-
mitted under Section 20.03(4), Special Exceptions, which allows
other professional services similar to those listed in Section
20.02.
Theresa Millard, manager of the collection agency, stated
a collection agency is a professional service. The collection
agency acts as an intermediary agent between a client and their
accounts.
Letters from Community Hospital and West Pasco Hospital
(both in New Port Richet) in support of the request were sub-
mitted and read into the record.

Upon consideration of the appeal of A. G. Spanos Enter-
prises, Inc., from the decision of the Building Official con-
cerning a special exception for a collection agency in Section
31-28-16, Spanos Executive Office Center Complex, which property
is located on the west side of U.S. 19, south of Countryside
Mall and is zoned PS (professional services), it appearing,
after this duly constituted public hearing, that the proposed
use is consistent with the general zoning plan and with the pub-
lic interest, Mr. House moved that said appeal be granted in
accordance with the application submitted therewith, with the
provision that the right to obtain a use permit in accordance
with said special exception shall cease after six (6) months
from this date. Mr. Regulski seconded the motion which carried
I unanimously.
ITEM H3 - Request of Clearwater Yacht Club., Inc., for a
special exception to permit construction of additional docks,

Upon the vote being taken, Messrs. Gans, Morris and
Donnell, voted "Aye"; Messrs. House and Regulski voted "Nay."
Request denied.
Upon consideration of the appeal of Otha Hansford from the
decision of the Building Official concerning the request for a
10 foot setback variance from the south property line upon
the property described above, it appearing, after this duly
constitued public hearing, that there are practical difficul-
ties or unnecessary hardships in the way of carrying out the
strict letter of the provisions of the zoning ordinance as it
affects such property and that the same can be varied in harmony
with the general purposes and intent of the zoning ordinance, Mr~
House moved that such appeal be granted in accordance with the
application submitted therewithJ with the provision that the
right to obtain a building permit in accordance with such vari-
ance shall cease after six (6) months from this date. Mr.
Regulski seconded the motion which carried unanimously.
ITEM #7 - Request of Kenneth Kubeck for variances.
The Building Official reported a resident across the street
on Macrae Avenue had received a variance to construct a home 17
feet from Webb Drive, which has subsequently been built.
Kenneth Kubeck presented a petition with 19 signatures 1n
support of his request for a side yard setback. This is a
corner lot with a lO foot utility easement in the rear. He is
aware that the deck from the pool may have to be removed if
the need arose to use the utility easement. The pool will be
built for recreation and the fence for privacy.
There were no citizens to speak and no additional corres-
pondence.
Upon consideration of the appeal of Kenneth Kubeck from
the decision of the Building Official concerning the requests
for a 3 foot side yard setback variance and a variance to con-
struct a 6 foot fence upon Lot 113, Ambleside Second Addition,
which property is located at 1202 Macrae Avenue and is zoned
RS-SO (single-family residential), it appearing, after this
duly constituted public hearing, that there are practical
difficulties or unnecessary hardships in the way of carrying
out the strict letter of the provisions of the zoning ordi-
nance as it affects such property and that the same can be
varied in harmony with the general purposes and intent of the
zoning ordinance, Mr. Morris moved that such appeals be granted
in accordance with the application submitted therewith, with
the provision that said fence be set back not less than three
feet from the property line with an access gate, for mainte-
nance purposes and the finished side facing out, and that a
planting plan be submitted for approval by the Building ,and
