ance with the application submitted therewith, with the provisions
'that the fence be set back on the same plane as the two fences
to the south, that a planting plan be submitted to the Building
Department for approval and that the right to obtain a building
permit in accordance with such variance shall cease after six (6)
months from this date. Motion was seconded by Mr. Morris and
carried unanimously.
ITEM #2 - Morton F. Plant Hospital for a special 'exception
to relocate oxygen storage tank.
The Planning Official outlined the history of the oxygen
tank, which is currently located in an RM-28 zone.
Douglas Dahlhauser, representative, stated the relocation
is riecessary because the location is objectionable to the neigh-
bors. He stated a considerable engineering effort goes into
construction of oxygen tanks to provide safety, and a current
problem is subsurface erosion. The proposed location more nearly
conforms with other activities of the area.
The Building Official stated the Fire Marshall had checked
the location and all safety factors meet specifications.
Mrs. J. P. Dagnon, adjacent property owner, questioned the
exact location of the oxygen tank in relation to the laundry
building.
Upon consideration of the appeal of Horton F. Plant
Hospital from the decision of the Building Official concerning a
special exception to allow relocation of an oxygen storage
tank on portion of Lots 30 and 31, Bluff View Court subdivision,
which property is located on Bay Avenue between Pinellas and
Jeffords and is zoned ISP (institutional semi-public) it appear-
ing, after this duly constituted public hearing, that the
proposed use is consistent with the general zoning plan '
and with the 'public interest, Mr. House moved that said appeal
be granted in accordance with the application submitted there-
witn, with the provision that the right to obtain a building
permit in accordance with said special exception shall cease
after six (6) months from this date. Mr. Morris seconded the
motion which carried unanimously.

ITEM #3 - Request of Seligman Homes, Inc. for a setback
variance to construct a residence.

issued for this construction in error.
