BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND APPEAL ON ZONING

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8 P.M.
The Board' considered the application of Kenneth Brown. Mr. L. H.
Hurley, realtor, representing the appl.icant, explained the request
stating that they would have lathes, drill presses, chucks and
grinding machines for cutting metal. It will be mostly pre-
. cis ion work, subcontracted for Motorola, General Electric and
others, and employing from five to ten people. They will have
parking for 10 to 20 cars, and the name of the firm will be Aero
Space' Co. There were no objections. Upon consideration of
the appeal of Kenneth Brown from the decision of the Building
Inspector concerning request to use existing building on Lots
13, l~, 15 and 16 less street, Block 1, Lake Belleview Addn.
for light manufacturing, zoned B (business), it appearing
after this duly constituted public hearing that there are
practical difficulties and unnecessary hardships in carrying
out the strict lette:!' of ~he provisions of the zoning ordinance
as it affects such property'and that the same can be varied
within the intent of the zoning ordinance, Mr. Mahan moved that
such appeal be granted in accordance with the application sub-
mitted therewith, with the provision that the right to obtain
a buildi~g permit in accordance with such special exception
shall cease after. six (6) months from this date. Motion was
seconded by Mr. Novotny.

The request of Charles H. Gibson and Edward H. Varno was con-
sidered. Mr. Hilton D. Jones, Attorney, representing the
applicant explained the application. Mr. French P.' Sargeant,
983 Narcissus Ave., asked for information about the effect it
would have on his property. There were no objections. Upon
consideration of the appeal of Charles H. Gibson and Edward H.
Ct Varno from tho decision of the Building Inspector concerning
request of Charles H. Gibson and Edwa~d H. Varno for 18 ft'.
setback from Bruce Ave. and 15 ft. setback from Narcissus Ave.
for Lot 6 less triangle in SE corner, Block 64, Mandalay Sub.,
zoned R-lE (single family), it appear1ng after this duly con-
