Mr. Niclc Rompon, surveyor, representing the applicants, stated they had leased the property for a two year period and the proposed model home would be used for dioplay purposes only and would not be used for living quarters. The Secretary read a memo ~rom Fire Chle~ R. C. Dobson recommending a permit for ~rame construction of this building be rejected since the location was in Fire Zone No.1 and recommending TyPe 5 construction .(masonry construction with solid foundation). Upon consideration of the appeal o~ John Hoadley et al from the. decision of the Building Inspector concerning denial of a permit for a 6.33 foot setback from South Osceola Avenue to construct a model home on a tract 1~51 x 631 at the southwest corner of South Osceola Avenue and Pierce street (property being presently zoned Business) it appearing after this duly constituted public hearing that there are pvactical d1~ficulties and wUlecessary hardships in carrying out the strict lettar of the provisions of the zoning ordinance as it affects such property and that the same can be varied within the intent of the zoning ordinance, Mr. Hougen moved that such appeal be granted in accordance with the application submitted therewith with the provisions that the right to obtain a building permit in accordance l'lith such variance shall cease after six nlonths from this date and that the building shall comply \'11th the minimum requirements of the City of Clearwater for construction in Fire District No.1. Morin who explained he planned no buildings on the property but would use it more as a storage area and planned to erect a fence around it. Upon consideration of the appeal of Robert B. Morin from the decision of the Building Inspector concerning denial of a permit for Business use, of the north thirteen feet of Lot 26, Block 16" Magnolia Park Subdivision" (property being presently zoned R-2) it appearing after this duly constituted public hearing that there are practical difficulties and unnecessary hardShips in carrying out the strict letter of the provisions of the zoning ordinance a6 it affects such property and that the same can be varied within the intent of the zoning ordinance, Mr. Hougen moved that such appeal be granted.
