The meeting was oalled to order by the Chairman at 2:00 p.m. in
the Commission Meeting Room in City Hall. He outlined the prooedures
and advised that anyone adversely affeoted by any deoision of the
Development Code Adjustment Board may appeal the deoision to an Appeal
Hearing Offioer within two (2) weeks. He noted that Florida law
requires any person appealing a deoidon of this Board to have a
reuord of the proceedings to support the appeal.
ITEM #1 - Raybon Curtis for a varianoe of 12 parking spaoes
to permit operation of 4 ohair beauty salon with zero
parking, at 1002 N Greenwood Ave, Mason's Sub, Lot 12, zoned
CN (neighborhood oommeroial).
The Planning Offioial stated the request is for a parking
varianoe due to a change of U3e from a laundromat to a beauty salon.
There are ourrentlY 1 existing non-oonforming spaoes whioh the
applioant wishes to resurfaoe. This requires the parking be brought
up to oode. He pointed out that if the premises were used tor retail
or personal servioes, oilly 6 parking spaoes would be required. The
Traffio Engineer has indicated there is a way to provide 5 spaoes
on the property.

, The Building Official stated a perwit was obtainod to remodel
the building and intormed the Board that the property was more ~on-
