involves property and identifioation signs.
Joshua Hagidson stated the applioant is oonoerned with keeping
the signs that are already there. The ohanges will be made to the
faoe of the signs only. He emphasized it is a 5 point interseotion
and the property is unique as there are two hills approaohing the
property, outting down Visibility.

Skip Rainey, the slgn oompany representative, explained the
problem of being able to see the signs should they be the size
specified in the Code.
After :some disoussion, Hr. Magidson stated the applicant is
withdrawing VarillnOe rOQuests #2, 3, 11, 5, and 6, and is ohanging
varianoe request '1 to a varianoe of 18 sq ft and varianoe 11 to 73
sq ft.
Ken Evans, representing First Florida Bank, spoke in support
emphasizing the bank is in agreement with the intent of the sign oode
which is to prevent exoess signage in Clearwater. However, he stated
the customers app~oach the location trom Court st and west on Glut-to-
Bay, and he does not teel two 63 tt signs would be reasonable.
One letter of opposition was submitted tor the reoord.
Based upon the inrormation furnished by the applioant, the atriot
applicfition of the Development Code would result in an unneoessary
" , ' hardship upon the applicant since this is a minimum variance to
overoome a oondition unique to this property. The granting of the
variance would not be detrimental or injurious to other proporty
