The meeting was called to order at 9:02 a.m. by Acting Chairman Paula Harvey
in the Operations Conference Room.
ITEM,1 FLORIDA POWER CORPORATION. CLEARWATER DISTRICT OFfICE
(REDEVELOPMENT). located on the west side of Booth Avenue, north and south of
lau ra St reet.
FINAL SITE PLAN - Approved with conditions.
Fire: No comment.
Public Works: 1) Prior to certification, a four foot wide sidewalk is to be
shown along Laura Street. The power poles are to be moved behind the walk or
a five foot si~ewalk easement could be provided adjacent to the right-of-way
,on the south side of Laura Street.
2) All existing driveways that are being eliminated by the
proposed plan are to be removed and new curb and gutter constructed.
3) Easement and ri ght-of-way dedi cat i on is to be comp I eted
prior to issuance of a building permit. An affidavit of no liens is to be
included with instruments.
4) The proposed pl an SWl's ~k' tree's to be pl anted in both
Cleveland Street and Booth Avenue 'Hfifit!ij!t-wIJI; Planting trees in the
Cl eve 1 and ri ght";of-way wi 11 requi re permi ts from the State Department of
Transportation. Landscape design along Cleveland Street should conform to the
City's Comprehensive' Streetscape plan for downtown Clearwater. RecolTlllend

this Committee that the plan conforms with the design guidelines for site plan
review subject to the following:
1. Prior to certification, a four foot wide sidewalk must be shown along
