(A) On motion by Ms. Nixon, seconded by Mr. Green the minutes of
August 5, 1986 were approved as written. Motion carried
unanimously.
Chairman Johnson outlined the procedures for conditional uses and
advised that anyone adversely affected by a decision of the
Planning and Zoning Board with regard to conditional uses has two
weeks from this date in which to file an appeal through the City
Clerk's office. Florida Law requires any party appealing a
decision of this Board to have a verbatim record of the proceed-
ings to support the appeal.

She stated the purpose of the request is to transfer the existing
liquor license to the new ownership, which is Chi Chits Corporate
Office. No other changes in the business will take place.
No persons appeared in support or opposition of this request.

Ms. Harvey advised no written correspondence was received
regarding this application. Ms. Harvey stated that staff
recommenaed approval with the condition that the use
permit be procured within 6 months of the approval of the
conditional use.
Motion to approve the request for conditional use was made by Mr.
Hogan and seconded by Mr. Schwob. Motion carried unanimously (6

A motion to approve the above amendment to the Land Development
Code was made by Ms. Nixon and seconded by Mr. Green. Motion
carried unanimously (6-0).
(F) Director's Items
Ms. Harvey introduced Mrs. Joan Moore to the board members who
has been hired to take Mrs. Betty David's place as her secretary
and will now be attending the Planning & Zoning Board meetings.
(G) Board & Staff Comments
Ms. Nixon asked if the Planning and Board could recommend to the
Hearing Officer handling the appeal by the Pick Kwik store
(C.U. '86-49), that if the Board's decision is overturned that
the cut off time of 10PM for sales of alcoholic beverages be
imposed as a condition of approval. Ms. Harvey advised that the
Board has that option to make such a recommendation to the
Hearing Officer through ~he City Attorney will will represent the
Board at the hearing.

l~el; therefore, about two years ago we purchascd propcrty at

be dislogged by our new sanctuary. Next we learned that the city
, had overlooked us we they did the North Greenwood rezoning in 1979,
and thus'we had to get the proper land use and zoning designations.

such,that we'may buil~ the necessary addition.
Refering to the attached site plan, please note that we wish to
