Public hearing was held for the purpose of considering requested annexation
and zoning and for the purpose of considering items to be included in an amendment
amending the Land Use Plan and Zoning Atlas.
Tapes of public hearings are on file in the Planning Department.
On motion by Mr. Bickerstaffe, seconded by Mrs. Rogers, minutes of November 16.
1982 were approved as written.

Above property is located generally from the west side of Missouri Avenue eastward
to Lincoln Avenue and north of Court Street.
Mr. Healey reviewed the background and history of subject property, stating that as
part of the nlO area-wide rezoning, the City Commission on September 16, 1982
directed planning staff to readvertise those properties to the professional office
category. In consideration of the creation of a substantial professional services
district in this area, staff is seeking to include in this request those properties
on Missouri Avenue which are developed with professional offices and abut the larger
professional services district.
No citizen appeared either in support of or in opposition to above request.
Motion was made by Mr. Mazur, scconded by Mrs. Rogers, to recommend approval of
above request. Motion carried unanimously.

Mr. Healey commented that the City Commission earlier denied the requested amendment
for the properties on the east side of Missouri but with the understanding that the .
request would be reconsidered in light of the uses on the west side of Missouri
Avenue. The objective is to recognize the existing use of the property and to re-
late this ~ea to the larger area to which it is contiguous which is zoned PS.
No citizen appeared in support of above request.
James Harrison of Bouchard Insurance appeared in opposition to above request. He
stated that Lot 1 and part of Lot 2 were purchased for commercial usage and the
insurro co agency \,j'ishes to add a second story to their present building.
Motion was made by Mr. Mnzur. seconded by Mrs. Rogers, to recommend approval of
