Mr. Max Battle, Director of Public Works. reviewed the application for the Board members. stating applicant is seeking to expedite processing the plat and that the City Manager had waived review by the Resource Development Committee due to a hardship. He presented a copy of the agreement that the City had entered into with property owners. noting that the plat will be reviewed by the Resource Development Committee when the entire plat comes in for review. He noted that the certificate of occupancy will be held up until it is an official plat of record. Mr. Tim Kerwin. representing ~egency be reduced from approximately 74 ft. of traffic s~eed~ Enterprises of FL. stated the.driveway would to 35 ft. in order to assist in the reduction Mr. Anderson expressed the desire not to have any points of egress or ingress on S. R. 60. Several Board members expressed this one lot plat. it would have been preferable Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard between the opinion that they felt uncomfortable reviewing In order to appropriately address access to' Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard. to have included all of the property which fronts on u. S. 19 and Bypass Drive. Motion was made by Mr. Bickerstaffe. seconded by Mr. Kuntz, to recommend appr~val of preliminary subdivision plat for The Regency. with the understanding thae will not be an entrance from The Regency property to Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard. carried 6-3. Mrs. Parks. Mrs. Regulski and Mr. Canan voted ItnBy.1t there Motion Bandshell DesiRn Competition Chris Papandreas. Chief Planner/Long Range, reviewed the Architectural Program with Board members, noting how the competition will be conducted. She distributed material explaining the Bandshell Design Competition and requested Board members I input and comments to be presented at the Planning and Zoning Board meeting of March 2. I Board members identified their areas of concern relative to traffic signalization and thoroughfare improvement plans with the hope that Keith Crawford, Traffic 'Engineering Director. could be present at the Boardls next meeting to discuss these items.
